unexplained server shutdown

Hi there

Windows 2000 IIS & active directory Server shuts down unexpectantly checked
log files and the error i get after it has shut down is 'the previous system
shut down at ... was unexpected' - no other clues in event log possible
license issue but don't think that would affect it? This server is a Primary
Domain Controller
has anyone an ideas?

That's all you see? No other errors, in the system or app logs?
What exactly is the 'license issue' you mention?

Stop and disable the license logging service on all servers, and keep track
