unespecified error when trying to import

I have Windows XP and Windows Movie Maker.
Since today I can't import anything, neither photos JPG, nor audio MP3,
nor videos AVI. Nothing.
There's a small windows stating that "could not import... blah blah...
unespecified error".
Please help me. What can I do to solve this?

Have you installed any new programs
or updates since the last time it worked
correctly?

Some users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.
