Underline feature is set to on position, all the time. How do I t.

My underline feature is set to the on position all the time, even on startup.
How do I turn it off so when I launched word it is turned off?.

You've inadvertently redefined your 'normal' style to include underlining.
Correct it.

In a new Blank Document, without making any other changes, go to Format |
Font. Set the underline style to "(none)," then click Default... in the
bottom left corner and answer yes to the ensuing dialog.
