Undeleteable Directories / Folders

I was ripping an Audio CD to MP3 and stopped it after several tracks, it has
left me with 3-4 Folders/Directories that I can't delete. When I try to
delete I get the following message. I get the same message if I drop into
the folder and try to delete the contents first.

"Error Deleting File Or Folder
Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk"

I have tried re-booting and using chkdsk but neither has worked.

Anyone any ideas ?

I followed the instructions on the web site but with no luck. I get a "file
doesn't exist error" at the CMD prompt.

Windows explorer allows me to delete and create files in the folders, but I
can't delete the folders themselves. I also get an error message when I try
to use the "attrib" to view the folders attributes the CMD prompt, but the
folder accepts customisation info, i.e..e. changing the thumbnail piccie !!
in explorer.

Further help needed Please
