Undeletable, corrupted, hidden file

There is a file in C:\Documents and Settings\<local user>\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\<Random Folder Name> that I
can't delete. WinXP detects this file as corrupt, and it won't let me move,
delete, etc the file. It constantly schedules chkdsk to run on next boot, but
chkdsk doesn't do anything to fix it. I have tried several methods of
deleting the file from Safe Mode, Command Prompt, etc, but it just won't go
away.

Any ideas on what to do?

(I really don't want to have to use a Hex Editor to disable WFP to get rid
of this thing).

Log on the computer with a different User account that has Administrative
rights and delete the entire folder "Content.ie5". You will be able to see
the hidden folder as well.

Tried everything you guys mentioned, always the same: File is corrupt, can
not be read, deleted, moved, etc.

I just formatted and reinstalled, that solved the problem directly.
