Unattended Windows XP Upgrade using WINNT32.MSI

I am trying to upgrade a Windows 2000 workstation to
Windows XP Professional without any user intervention. I
would eventually like to deploy this through a GPO. I
have modified the Windows XP WINNT32.MSI as stated in the
Knowledge base Article 246617, so it doesn't prompt me to
enter in a CD product code. Although, in my Unattend.txt
file I have removed the [Unattended] NTupgrade = yes line
because ever time I run the WINNT32.MSI I receive an
error 1722. "There is a problem with the Windows
Installer package. A program run as part of the setup
did not finish as expected. Contact your support
personnel or package vendor." When I run the WINNT32.MSI
without the [Unattended] NTupgrade = yes line in the
Unattend.txt it complete the copying of files then
reboots. After rebooting, it goes into the GUI setup to
complete the installation as if it is a fresh install and
not an upgrade. Is this line in the Unattend.txt file an
important key to the upgrade, if so what would cause the
error message? Is there something I'm missing in
the .MSI? How do I get this to run as an upgrade without
any user intervention?

Please Help!

Thanks,
Mike
