Unable to VPN from XP

I am suddenly unable to VPN into a Windows 2000 server
from any Windows XP machine. I am still able to VPN in
from Windows 2000 machines but with XP I get "Error 619:
A connection to the remote computer could not be
established, so the port used for the connection was
closed"...

Try to establish VPN connection _without_ any Personal Firewall on XP
(disable Firewall service).

Hi,
This behavior that you specify can occur if the RRAS server is joined to a
Windows 2000 domain. If the RRAS server is not properly added to the Active
Directory, client connections are not possible.
To resolve this issue, register the RRAS server in the Active Directory.
Does that help ??

Thanks,
Sudeep.
