Unable to View Pictures in IE6

Hello.

A friend of mine running IE 6.0.2800.1106 and Windows ME
is unable to view pictures within his browser
automatically. If you right click the area where the
picture should be and click show picture, it works. I've
checked the Advanced options in the Internet Options and
the "Show Pictures" is checked. Anyone have any ideas of
what I should look for next? Any ideas on what/where the
reg key would be?

I tried the cleaning of the temp files and several of the
suggestions on generation.net page. Still no fix. Any
ideas if a simple reinstall of the Internet Explorer 6.0
software would potentially fix the problem?
