Unable to view movie attachments under Newsgroups

Anyone out their run into a problem with either downloading a movie
files(AVI, MOV, MPG or WMV) ? All I get is strange symbols in the
viewing window. Is there a rule I need to apply or am I just missing
something?

You need to select each part of the movie message, and the on the message
menu, select 'combine and decode', then open the resultant attachment.
