I try to set a system restore point and I get the following message: "System
restore is not able to protect tour computer. Please restart your computer
and then run System Restore again." I re-boot, try to restore, and get the
same message. Then I tried to start the System Restore service using the
services under Administrative Tools and received the following message:
"Could not start the System Restore service on Local computer. Error 3:
The System cannot find the path specified."
I have disk space reserved on three disks: G: (old C drive: 4580 mb, E:
drive: 9157 mb, and new C: drive:18315 mb.
I did replace the original C: drive some time ago.
Any ideas?
