Hi there, I wonder if somebody can help me, sometimes ago I tried to change
the user name, password and domain on my computer (Window 2000), and as I was
booting up I entered the Setup where I enable the password that the above
should not work, I honestly can explain what I did. But now I couldn't get
into set up when booting agai, the keyboard will not respond, all the lights
will be blinking one after another (i.e. Num locks, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock
lights) I tried to boot from the floopy disk but when it reach a certain
stage, it asked for the password, and upon typing the password it will
display an error - 'NTLDR is missng' and when I removed the disk it will
continue booting. I have tried so many things to remove this but nothing
seems to work.
Can you please tell me what to do, to remove this password so that I will be
able to enter the set up again. Thank you very much, and happy new year to
you all.

Your description is a little vague but it sounds as if you set
a BIOS password (which has nothing whatsoever to do with
Windows). Get back into the BIOS and remove that password.
If you don't remember how, here are a couple of options:

- Read the manual that came with your PC. It has a whole
section on how to get into the BIOS, or
- Remove the shiny battery on your motherboard for ten minutes,
then put it back. On most PCs this has the effect of removing
the BIOS password.

Thanks Pegaus, but if I remove the battrey will I still have my system in the
same mode, and will not loose anything. Thanks

You will not lose anything by removing the battery other
than the date and the time. On old systems you would have
to tell the BIOS to "re-discover" the hard disk. On new
systems this happens automatically.

As I said, read the manual that came with your PC!
