Unable to update public update free/busy and 2 calenders

I have been getting the following error message "Unable to update public
free/busy data. Operation failed" and have noticed that I have 2 calenders -
one in my personal folder and other in regular location. I have been unable
to find a way to delete the one in my personal folder and unfortunately, any
meetings that go to personal folders (via Rules Wizard) are only appearing on
the calender in the personal folder. Any idea how to get rid of 2nd calender
and hopefully that should clear up my error message? Have Outlook 2000 SP-3.

Thanks.

SEt your default delivery to the mailbox of your choice. All new items will
be delivered, posted, saved there and not in your non-preferred delivery
location. YOu cannot delete a default calendar, no matter where it is
located, mailbox or personal folders.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Joanne asked:

I have several users reporting the same problem about unable to update
Free/busy information. I have checked the outlook profiles on these
machines, and the defualt delivery location IS the mailbox for these users.
They do use Offline Folders, which is the only commonality I have seen. As a
troubleshooting step, I have had two of the user create New MAPI outlook
profiles that do not use Offline FOlders and where the delivery location is
set to "Mailbox - Lastname, Firstname". Any other suggestions we can try
about this issue?

Thank you in advance,
