Unable to startup Windows in normal mode

Hello,
I'm unable to boot my system in Windows normal mode. The Windows start
screen appears as normal, but then a very brief blue screen in displayed and
the system reboots.
I can boot in up in safe mode without any problem, and I've run a virus scan
in safe mode to verify that the problem isn't virus induced. I've tried the
MS KB msconfig troubleshooting procedure, withoput any succes. Is there a way
to prevent Windows from restarting so I can read the information displayed in
the Blue screen?

somewhere in 'my computer' properties
try googling something like
stop windows xp restarting
That will tell you where to find the box to check or uncheck so it
doesn't restart .

i can't but some elitists are able to read and analyse blue screens
properly. unfortunately, they try to keep their methods secret and tend
to only do it by privately by email. Anyhow, it's easy to fix blue
screens by pure troubleshooting. no need to read much on the blue
screen.

one thing to do if the comp doesn't restart, is check the event logs,
they hint to the problem.
if you google that windows xp freezes or keeps restarting, then you'll
find out all about what to click to do that too

a troubleshooting method you could try is a windows xp repair. (yes,
that can be googled too).

Do the following: Rt.click My Computer>Properties>Advance tab>Starup and
Recovery>Settings - uncheck auto startup.

BTW: Starting safe mode but not "normal" mode indicates a driver problem -
use msconfig to troubleshoot startup items.
