Unable to send or Receive Windows Mail

P

Peter Ball

I am unable to send and receive currently on Windows Mail, the system is
running on Vista.

I have recently had to have a new hard drive fitted by Dell following damage
from dropping the computer, and am trying to set up the account again.

Pop 3 and SMTP set as far as I understand it.

Original account was in BT Hub in UK and worked OK, I now live in Spain and
the system worked fine through default server, and not pop 3 / SMTP etc. I
am now unable to set up the server and make it work.

In Spain, the line is from Telefonca, and internet provided by Euphony, but
has worked fine on windows mail previously.

I retain the BT intrenet address as all contacts know this and I pay BT 1
pound 50 per month for the use of the address.

E - Mail works fine via Internet but unable to work offline, and unable to
access previous history.

Would like to re set windows mail if anyone can help.

Regards
Peter Ball

The first link provides settings for Outlook Express, Windows Mail uses the
same settings.
