"Unable to send message"

This is what I get when I try to send email. It also shows that my old wowway
address is being used. I'm not very computer literate, and don't know how to
tell windows mail that I am now using a yahoo address. Help! paul

After WM fails to send the message, you should see a Yellow triangle in the
bottom right corner, double click on that, then copy the displayed error
message back to this thread.

We need more detail from you, remember that we can't see over your shoulder
Paul.

Without the text of the error messages, it's difficult to say, but, if you
have discontinued an old address in favour of a new one from another
provider, you have to do two basic things:

1) You have to change the server settings so that Windows Mail knows what
server to send through. It can't guess. Go to Tools, Accounts, Properties
to update this. Get the information from your mail provider, whoever that
is.

2) You have to be sure that the service from the new provider *will actually
work with Windows Mail*. If you've shifted to using an ordinary Yahoo
address, it won't work. You have to either use a 3rd party utility like
YPOPS or pay Yahoo for a premium mail service that *will* work with POP mail
clients like Windows Mail.
