I use outlook 2003, never had a problem before

since yesterday, anytime i send an email with an attachmnet, the email fails
and i get back the following email message from "system Administrator":

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: test 2
Sent: 02/02/2007 10:32

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

A Name ([email protected]) on 02/02/2007 10:32
551 5.0.0 Confirmed Spam

(i have amended the names & email address above for security reasons)

Can anybody help?

please

thanks

To anyone or just to a specific person/company? If to anyone contact your
ISP to verify that your IP or their mail servers aren't on a block list. If
just to a specific person/company contact their admin instead.

i am unable to send attachments to anyone (i have tried sending to different
people and with different attachments).

i contacted ISP and they suggested : that i log on to the web based email
and try e to send attcahmnets to same email that failed when itried sending
from Outlook. It DID go through. ISP advised that they thought it was
therefore a problem with my Outlook and not thier servers.

i have since opened an account on my PC in Outlook Express with my email
address and sending attachments from OE does work.

it does appear to point to an outlook problem.

(a friend suggested i try the detect and repair function in the help menu -
i am scared to do this in case it mucks everything up)

Are you using a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.

A repair doesn't affect any configuration settings unless you tell it
explicitly to reset those as well.
