I have uninstalled few programs, nero burner and photosuite
platnium, cannon picture progs, ms bootvis.
While doing this i was asked if i wanted to remove shared files or
something like this i said yes to all.
I never rebooted after removing each prog. Now, i have many
problesm. 1. system events and other progs
under administration toolsm are missing some .msc files. I cannot
defrag with diskeeper, i cannot do windows updates.,
no system restore even if the hd is set to monitor my C drive(HD)
and few other thinGs.
I have tried faour times to repair windows with booth from xp cd.
After i went througH setup and at the end it
says windows xp licensing agreement
EULAID:WX.4_PRO_RTL_EN
press F8=I AGREE. i press F8 and nothing happen, i let it sit for 15
min and nothing happen.
If i press ESC: I dont agree, IMMEDIATELY the setup terminates. What
is happening, i have a valid product
with licesence key. I have been using this OS for almost 4 years and
never had any problem using the system restore.
Sorry for the long message.
I have winxp pro with sp2.
I dont really want to do a clean re install.
