My first thought is that perhaps you have sent an email that was large and is
having trouble going through (in excess of 1 mb). I would check your mail
account using your browser and your ISP's webmail feature and see if you can
delete anything that may be stuck outgoing on their server.

Sorry, I meant to say that perhaps an incoming mail is very large, not an
outgoing mail.
