I've been getting this error msg since loading KB928366. I have unistalled
this "Criical" upate and msg now gone. Is there going to be a fixed for this
critical fix?

Also my mouse has been acting very erratic since this upadete. I believe Net
Framework is required for the HP Keyboards and mouse so this is probably
related.

I am running XP Media Center and use automated updates.

If you suspect an issue with the HP software, have you checked
with them / their website for updated versions ?
If a person has an issue making application of a security update
not possible then they may receive free support from Microsoft
by calling 1 (866) PC-SAFETY but do check that your third-party wares
are at current versions first.

I have been running this PC for 18 months with weekly Microsoft Automated
updates (correctly spelt this time) with no problems up until now. My mouse
hasn't had any problems either until this update so that is why I mentioned
that and I always keep my drivers upto date for everything on both PCs and
Laptop.

So I unistalled KB928366 and everything was fine but over night automated
updates loaded it again and now it is hanging on the actual update so I have
disabled it.

Very strange with the mouse though and bear in mind I never had any problems
until this update. The mouse movement will grind almost to a halt and the
buttons will not respond. Guess what? If I take my phone off the hook
everything works fine!! I have never heard of anything like this before!

Any help would be welcome before I pick up the phone to HP.

Thanks

Jarvey.

I am unable to install this update, with giving any reason why its not able
to update. I did notice that the size of the update was "0 KB' as well as the
speed was "0 KBps". Has this update been cancelled? Why am I still recieving
notices on this when it doesnt seem to be a needed update? Thanks
