Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Outlook 2003 on Vista

Hi,

I've installed Office 2003 Vista and XP Pro workstations before and never
had this problem and can't find the fix by googling it.

Just got new HP machines which came with Vista Business edition and they
also came preinstalled with a trial version of Office 2007. Client doesn't
want Office 2007, so uninstalled it. Then found we couldn't find the
clients Office 2003 setup disc, so in the mean time have loaded on Office
2000 copies of Word / Excel. The Vista machine is connected to MS SBS 03 R2
box which has a free license of Outlook 2003. So went to install that like
I usually do and when I first start outlook it says

"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. please go to control panel and
click on Mail and add a data file"

So did this, and when I click on the Data file and click 'Add' a new form
pops up which says 'New Outlook Data File' and under that it says 'Types of
storage:' and it's blank.. Nothing for me to select.

The user is running as an Administrator so don't think its a permissions
problem, but I could be wrong...

Any ideas?
