unable to open a new window

Goofy

Last night, for no reason I have been able to figure out,
IE just stopped being able to open a second, third, etc.,
window. Whenever I choose the "Open Link in New Window"
option, the second window opens, but never loads. The same
thing happens if I click on a link that opens another
window. I've run SpyBot and Norton Anti-Virus but nothing
happened. Does anyone out there know what's going on?

Try This:

Click [start] [run]
Type: regsvr32 /i urlmon.dll [press enter]
regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll [press enter]
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll [press enter]

Restart Windows
Open IE click [tools][internet options][programs][reset
web settings]

That should do it. I had the same problem.
