unable to login as administrator

hi ng,

I have a windows 2000 domain server and disabled the interactive logon for
domain users on the server (local security policies). But now even the
administrator is disabled for local login.
Is there any possibility to enable the administrator again or 'repair' the
local security policies?

many thanks,
gottfried

On another domain controller or any machine with the domain Administrative
Tools (adminpak.msi on the Server CD) - open AD Users and Computers and in
the Domain Controllers OU create/modify a GPO allowing the desired domain
user account to logon locally.

Thank you for your advise. I created a new user to login on the server. It
worked perfectly.

But I stumbled on something else. I'm running a ftp service. These users
who are in the group that can not login locally can't either access the ftp
service.
To be specific. I have a shared directory which the user group can access
from outside. It works perfectly with network-drive connection, but it
fails if an user wants to access this directory via ftp.
It seems to me that users you can't login locally aren't either allowed to
access shared folders via ftp.

Any advise?
