Unable to install Office Service pack 2

Did the update "High Priority" and downloaded, Office 2003 Service Pack 2.
However when I come to install, I get the error message
"Updates were unable to be successfully installed"
Can I delete the downloads and start again or how do I install them?

Check in Admin tools/services and make sure that the "Office Source
Engine" service is set to either manual or automatic and not disabled.
If this service is disabled, office updates will not install.

Thanks for the help. Tried below and on Auto. Tried downloading and
re-installing manually - no joy.
Been to news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.officeupdate
and see lots of other problems similar to mine. Think I'll just wait until
MS gets it sorted.
Thanks
Roy

After switching the service to manual or auto did you start it? If it
was stopped, switching it does not start it. You need to Start it and
make sure it is running.

I have had this same problem as you a few times before and each time
it was simply this service not being running that was causing the
problem.

Hi Les - It was already set to manual, right from the start. I merely
changed it to auto. There seems to be hundreds of other Office 2003 users
with exactly the same problem so I'm sure there'll be a MS fix coming out
Thanks Roy
