unable to find local/subnet master browser

Hi, I have a problem. On one of our subnet in our domain, we can't find
the Local master browser.
I did
browstat getmaster <transport> <domain>
and received
Unable to get master:Access is denied.

Does anyone know how I can fix it?

Many thanks in advance.

I've seen this before.
It usually fixes itself by entering the command
browstat status <domain>
first. That seems to update your comupter's notion of who is master
and subsequent "browstat gm" commands usually work better. If that
doesn't work, try a "browstat el" command.

HTH,
John
