Unable to display image

G

George

I have seen many posts about not being able to see images when reading mail
using Outlook Express. I am using OE 6 (with Windows XP) and am having the
same problem. The size of the mail message (11 KB) tells me that the images
must not be there. I'm wondering why. The mail account is from AOL, but I
read my mail using OE. I use enetbot to get the mail from AOL. If I open
the mail in AOL, I can see the images fine. But when I look at them through
OE, all I get is Unable to display image.

The HTML option is on and I have include send pictures with message enabled
also (although these are send settings, so I'm not sure how they affect
reading mail).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Check tools > accounts > security > and see if you have the settings set to
not allow attachments which could be a virus? If you do untick it and see if
you can see/open the attachments.

I have no problems. Sometimes, there is a paperclip in the upper right hand
corner. This is an attachment, that I have to click and open. Other than
that no probs.
I hope this helps.
