Hello there, I'm hoping someone can offer me some help...

I am having trouble connecting to the internet with my linksys wireless router BEFW11S4 version 4. I was told by tech support to reset the router earlier today. This caused the router to dump all my data and reset back to default "linksys". I then attempted to secure the router myself (disabled SSID, changed to 128 and obtained a WEP Key etc.). Everything was fine until I tried to connect to this network. It gave me the following issue:
"Limited or no connectivity".
I did a ipconfig/release then ipconfig/renew and it gave me the following error:
"Unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out".
I called Linksys and they said that I have to pay $35.95 for them to help!
I have tried disabling the firewall but it didn't seem to help.
Does anyone have any advice for me?! I'm not much of a computer buff, but I try to do things on my own... I'm a self teaching kind of girl!

Thanks in advance... Jenn
