Hi

I am trying for almost several days, read the articles and newsgroups but I couldnt trasnfer my file from 95 to XP. I have two laptops one XP Home edition other has Windows 95. I have an IEEE1284 A-A 25-pin D-sub connector which I connected to both laptops at LPT1 port. I checked on both computers that they have client for microsoft, TCP/IP, file and printer sharing and IPX/SPX protocols. While I am using the new connection wizard I choos
1- setup an advanced on XP advanced connectio
2-Connect directly to another compute
3-Check Gues
4-Type the name of the host computer which is on identification tab on network
5- and then asking for username and password ... i tried blank but it doesnt work what should I write here

I also tried use pcAnywhere but it doesnt work either. In my old 98 I was be able to share a folder and I could access from my home...but in XP I I shared my folder and try to access from 95 by using internet and connect to the of IP of the XP but I couldnt. I try both http and ftp.

So what is the easiest way to transfer my files...PLEASE HEL
