Unable to connect to one computer in network

I have a small network of about 7 computers, using either XP Home or XP
Professional. They are connected to a router. For one computer, I am able to
see all the other computers and connect to them, but other computers can not
connect back. When I click My Network Places the computer in question does
not show up on the list, but if you click View Network Computers under
Network Tasks it does appear. If you click this icon, a message appears that
says you do not have the appropriate permissions to access this computer. Can
someone tell me where these permissions are set so that I can change them?

Sally,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

For more direct help, provide "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config
server", and "net config workstation", from the problem computer, AND from 2
other computers, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):

And make sure that NetBT is Enabled on each computer.
