Unable to burn audio cds

Hi, I have a brand new computer with media center. When I attempt to burn
audio cds, it goes through the normal process and even says the burn was
successful, but nothing actually gets burned. I noticed it doesn't seem to be
finalizing , either. i have tried different cds and amounts of data, even
slowing down the write speed and disc clean up. Nothing is working. I have
not have a successful burn with this computer on either drive , yet. ( Two
weeks old ) I thought I'd check here before messing with the registry since
it's brand new.Thanks in advance for any help.

Registry? Don't touch it for it may void your warranty at this time.
What app are you using to burn - WMP, Roxio, Nero or other?
If you have Roxio or Nero create a music CD which will play on
your home and car player. Make sure you click to finalize when
burning is complete. If using WMP, read at below URL.
