Unable to add sites to 'Privacy' tab

I'm using IE 6 SP2. When I try to do this........Tools, Interent
Options, Privacy tab, and click the Sites button, I find that websites I had
previously added to that list are gone when I check back. There are
currently two sites listed, none of which I added.

I have repeatedly typed in URL's, clicked 'Block' then 'OK' and 'OK'
again to close out the Internet Options field. But when I check back again
the sites I just added are not listed. Any ideas why?

Using RegEdit, if you go to the key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\P3P\History], your blocked sites should still be listed.
Fortunately, I knew where these sites were stored in the Registry. So I was
comforted to see that all my blocked sites were still there, despite the
*what happened?* feeling I got when I tried to add new sites through the IE
Privacy settings.

It also appears that more sites were added to my list than I remember since
the last time I checked. This may have been done automatically by
SpywareBlaster, or perhaps by IE itself. Not sure exactly how that's done,
but it may be an added privacy enhancement built into SP2. Just a guess.

This glitch is apparently caused by bad code with the latest
definitions from Spybot. The URL below discusses this problem:

Thanks for the heads-up. Tried the fix, but was unsuccessful. Did it work
for you?
