Unable to add printer

Tim

I recently upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 Pro My
old Compaq printer will now not work. I bought an
inexpensive Lexmark z515 printer that says compatible with
Windows 2000. When downloading the software for the
printer, it keeps saying "not enough disc space on target
drive, clear disc space and continue." I've been working
on this for four hours and I have no clue. PLEASE HELP

Thanks,
Tim

Hi

From the posting it sounds like a space issue.
1. See if there is enough free space in the drive where you are trying to
download the software. Otherwise free some space.
2. Try installing the driver directly from the CD instead of first dumping
it to the drive.
