unable to access secured pages

WXP Home - IE6 - He had mozilla and has uninstalled and downloaded IE6. I
can access internet pages, until I need to go to a secured page. Have tried
Hijack This, Adaware, NAV 2004 with updates. Under Tools, Internet Options,
Advanced, I have the following checked...Check for publishers certificate;
enable integrated windows auth; enable profile assistance; use SSL 2.0; use
SSL3.0; warn about invalid site certs; warn if form submittal is redirected.
I cannot find anything else that would not allow an https: page to load.
What in the heck am I missing?????

Thanks!

Make sure your firewall is not blocking port 443. See also
