Unable to access Microsoft websites

S

Sudhanshu

I am having a strange problem. I have Windows XP with SP2 which I have been
using for last 4 years. Suddenly I am unable to access any MS website
(msdn.com / msn.com / Microsoft.com etc) but can access any other site (yahoo
/ google etc). I can't even access my hotmail account. I can't do any updates
anymore since MS sites are not accessible.

I tried using Firefox browser but the result is same. It gives a message
that connection to server was reset while page was loading.

I have tried things like installing SP3 (I got it through my other laptop
which is working fine), downloading malware removal software from MS site and
running it and also installing Bullguard v8.5 but no fix. No scanner is able
to find anything at all.

Please help. I am getting crazy here.
