Unable to access IE or Microsoft Explore

Debbie

I have been unable to find any help from the knowledge base
on my problem. Without any chages (that I'm aware of), I
am 'magically' unable to access Explore or choose My
Documents, My Pictures, My etc. from the start menu, I get
the error "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." when
trying to access Internet Explorer, same message but
"Internet Explorer..." I can open both fine in safe mode,
have uninstalled and reinstalled IE and am stuck using
Netscape with no access to my files without jumping thru
hoops. Any advice would be appreciated.
