Unable to access database - locked

We have a database that was accidently locked and won't unlock.

There is an LDB file there but not sure if we can just delete it?

Thanks,

Instead of deleting it, just cut and paste it somewhere else. Not sure if
that will let you in or not though. Is it set to single user?

Hi tshad,

My guess is if you have an LDB someone has it open. However, to try an solve
your existing probelm. Open Access and create a blank database and save it to
your desktop. Then, import everything out of the locked database into the new
one you created. This should reset the database so you can open it again.
Give a try, take about five minutes.

I don't think that this is a good -- long term-- solution.

If you get sick and tired of a database that craps out-- then UPSIZE
to SQL Server.
