i have 2 xp computers. one is new and i have had it for some time now
and i have had no problms with it. yes i have altered just about evey
setting in it to be custum. so i realy do not want to format this one
because as we all know installing everything from ground up is a pain
in the ass and nothing is quite realy hte same after that. any way.
its a sony viow. 1.5 bg ram 2 hard drives 2 users. everytihng else is
intergrated or basic.
i use sbc or should i say at&t. i got a 2wire modem that can conect up
to 4or5 pc's to the internet. i assum. its also a network hub. i meam
it worldn't be to much work to make it a network hub for the compny.
also day and age reflect that that would be normal or a standard thing
to do<i mean making hte mulit conection modem a network hub. anyway
that is off topic.> so i also have a old computer. i mean realy old. it
had 98 on it. i up graded it to xp. i instalte dream and whateverelse
was needed for ex to run.
specs as of now.
pc 1 good.
1.5 gb ram
2 hard drives 1. 80gb 2. 20 gb.

3 cd frives, 1. cd 52x 2. cd-rw 48x +/- 3. dvd-rw 16x +/-
2.4 gh
pc 2 bad.
384 mb ram
1 hard drive 12gb.

1cd drive 32x and one flopy drive.
600 mh
modem
2wire cumpony
4 posible conections.
from sbc internet providers.
pc2 is at the time being crashed but i intend to fix it because this is
my second computer and i will load it with hard drives and use it as
extra storage. yes i do need all all that storage. i am tired of
burning things to dvd and them deliting hte file only to find the dvd
is curupt.

pc2 when it was working and i hadn't formated it and eveything was just
peachy found pc2 but pc1 said "the user has not been granted the
request logon type at this computer"
at this time i had internet conection with pc2.
i being a ginus that can't spell or work computers decided to scrow
around with it unitl i fixed it i am a hand on type or person.
now things go bad.i go to pc1 and try every damb network option and
change everything. so i do not even know my original settings any more.
nothing has happened. istill can't fix the problem.
however it gets better now pc2 will not conect to hte internet.
and after that pc2 decides to crash. i am determined. if no one replys
i will anwer my own damb question so plsea help cuz i will be pissesd
off if i end up answering my own question.
