UDF Format Utility

If there is a better forum for this question, please let me know. I'm using
the DirectCD ability from Roxio to backup data to formatted CDRW's on my XP
Pro system. The whole thing is completely automated, with the exception of
formatting a UDF CDRW.

I'm looking for the ability to format UDF discs from the command line. Does
a freeware option exist somewhere? Thanks in advance.
