Two Workgroups

I am trying to connect a laptop to two workgroups,
preferably simultaneously, but am able to connect to only
one of the workgroups. Although I access the Internet
through the second group while connected to the first, I
cannot see the computers on the second workgroup,
regarless of whether the first is connected, and in spite
of some experimentation with workgroup name changes. Is
it possible to access two workgroups simultaneously? Is
there a reasonably efficient way to access them
sequentially, with a reboot perhaps, but without manually
reconfiguring?

You can belong to only one workgroup or domain at a time.
So with your setup, you can't browse using network neighborhood and see the
other computers? Workgroups have no built in security, so you should be able
to, or at the very least "blindly" map a drive to whatever resources you
want using Net Use - then you don't need to mess around with any settings or
use third party software.
