Two sided printing

P

Pete Hoffman

Running Windows XP in a Sony VAIO PCV-RX671 driving an HP
PSC 750xi. When I enable two-sided printing, my system
doesn't recognize when there's only one page and presents
the two-sided printing instructions all the time. If I
click on CANCEL PRINT, I still get the second page
(blank) through the printer. This is true regardless of
the software providing the printed matter -- Works,
Stamps.com, etc. They all do the same thing.

I know there were problems initially with the XP drivers
for the 750xi and for a long time it didn't support two-
sided printing at all. Now there's too much of it. Is
there a new driver out? Or have I missed a parameter
setting somewhere that I didn't recognize? I'd really
like to be able to print single pages without having to
cancel the printer then the software before continuing.

Any help will be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Pete
