Two sided or one sided memory???

My motherboard, Asus P4B-266, will only support two two sided memory
modules. So I used only two Crucial 256mb 2100 DDR modules with chips
on both sides, assuming that they were "two sided." Now I hear that
modules with chips on both sides can be "one sided." Is this true,
and, if so, can someone please explain it to me so I know if my
modules with chips on two sides are indeed "two sided?"

Thanks very much.

Your Motherboard takes DDR Memory. It could either be one-sided or
two-sided. You only have two memory slots.
I have three memory slots with one double sided and one single sided
memory module. But I still have room for one
more memory module either single or double.
