Two questions

Hi,
Can someone help with two questions please

1. When I go to outlook express,it opens and auto down loads
messages.....how do I get it to open and download with a password only ?

2. When messages are downloaded in outlook express ,they are wiped off my
server....I would like them to remain on my server
account.....................how do I do this ?

Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
