Two Monitors - how to move window from one screen to the other

Is there a shortcut to do this? At the moment I have to minimize my
window, drag it over to the other screen, then maximize it again. Is
there some sort of shortcut key that would just move it for me?

Why do you need to minimize?
Normally you just drag it, unless you are talking about a specific program.

Some programs can't handle moving to, or displaying on, a secondary monitor.

What brand of video card? If it is a newer Nvidia, there are often some
extra options you can turn on in the driver to add some extra title bar
buttons that do things like move the window to the other screen. If it is
ATI, the Hydravision program may do somthing like this (I can't remember,
haven't used it for quite a while).

On my dual monitor set up, I just right click on the appropriate button on
the bottom ttolbar and on of the options is something like 'Move to Monitor
1/2'. This may be a feature added by the graphic card driver though.

It should not be necessary to minimise the window, however, you cannot drag
the window if it is maximised.

Just drag the window on one screen to the other with the mouse.
