Two IDE controller PCI cards

Hi, People. I have need for a 2nd PCI IDE controller card
in my PC which runs WinXP. I have already bought a 2nd
card of a different make than the 1st (I heard that the driver
can get confused if they're identical cards). Having already
installed the 1st card, how does one install the driver for the
2nd card and designate it for use with the 2nd card?

BTW, does anyone actually know if the driver really does
get confused if both IDE PCI cards are identical?

You can install as many as you need, diffrent brands do not matter, the only
choices are for priority settings in the BIOS,if xp is on one,you may need
to reinstall xp and press F6 when booting to xp cd for installation. As for
the
other card, those drivers can be loaded on desktop.

What does "As for the other card, those drivers can be loaded
on desktop" mean? Assuming that the driver for the 1st PCI
card is installed correctly, how does one install the 2nd driver
and link it to the 2nd PCI card?
