Two cards?

I just installed a ATI Radeon 9600XT and began experiencing system lockup
problems. The consensus of advice I found here was that having the latest
drivers installed was crucial. So, I frantically downloaded and installed
drivers for both the video board and my motherboard. BTW - I have a P4 2.4
in a Soyo Dragon lite with 1gig running the FSB @ 533mhz. Via chipset.

I seem to have it stable now, but am slightly curious about one thing - when
I examine my hardware devices, the display adaptor category shows TWO
Radeon 9600 video cards installed. One is listed as "secondary" . I did
completely uninstall my old card and all related drivers (via windows
add/remove programs) - an older Radeon 7500.

Is this (the two display adaptor thing) normal?

It's normal, your card can support two displays. My 9600 Pro is
similar.
Enjoy,
