TWAIN Drivers

My twain driver for a brother scanner and a cannon camera
have become troublesome. I have relaoded and removed for
hundreds of hours. In the past they have worked. I must
have changed somthing somewhere. Without reloading the
complete windows 2000 pro. I would like to repair this
condition. They are using the USB ports and the other usb
devices work on these ports. I am woundering if some files
are missing, changed or some system component services are
turned off or on which should not be.

Intel. I have found out about a hotfix that is related to
this condition but I have already upgraded to sp3, this
should have taken care of this. I cannot find the hotfix
file to try and reinstall.

i'm not sure about the cam, but for the printer it's the normal way NOT
to attach it to the PC before the driver installed. So you first
install the driver, then reboot and as last step attach the scanner.
Later it doesn't matter if the scanner is attachet at boot time. This
could be the same for your cam.
