TV Wonder VE and dual display.

E

Eric McGowen

Hi. I am running dual display with my onboard Dell video and a 32MB
Gforce2 card. I have installed a TV Wonder VE card also, and the TV
application is working fine. However, it will only display on the
primary display (32mb card.) Operating system is windows XP pro. Any
guesses?

Thanks in advance,
Eric

I've been using All-in-wonder TV cards for years..... 2 different
models...on 98, ME and XP.....they simply will not display when dragged to
secondary monitors. Somewhere it says it will not work....I just can't
point you there now. It has something to do with OPenGL or ActiveX or
memory mapping, or something like that. It is a fundamental desigh issue
with windows and TV capture cards that will prorobabley never be resolved.
Not to be insensitive, but........As they say..... get over it.

I can't get this link to open...... getting Outlook Exp error.....what is
I've never seen anything like this, should
there be a http:// prefix I'm very interested in this fix whatever it is.
I assume it is a site selling a patch, add-in, or replacement for
MultiMedia7.2 ????

No, you tried to click on a message ID, not a 'link' it didnt open
because Outlook Express is flaky when dealing with non-http links sometimes.

Try this:
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/
give it a few days use, I'm sure you'll like it.

I believe the person responding to you neglected to paste the URL into
their message.

Im not sure, but 'Omega' drivers may extend functionality on your card,
just go to google and type 'omega drivers ati' someone else in the
thread pointed out that it seems to only be the ATI software that
prevents you from outputting to second source (esp TV! you could *gasp*
RECORD it!) i believe its a macrovision issue or something.

Im not sure if it addresses your multiple-monitor issue directly, if
not, fairly certain there are links to other unofficial software for ATI
cards.
