Turning "text off" on toolbar or ribbon icons?

Chet

Anyone know how to turn the "text off" on toolbar or ribbon icons in
excel 2007 or excel 2010? What I mean is there is text like the word
SAVE is next to the save icon but I don't want to see the text all the
time because I know what that icon represents already and the text
takes up too much space on the screen.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chet

If you mean canceling the tool-tips pop-up shown while mouse hovers over an
Ribbon Item - try this:
Click the round "Office" Icon, located at the left upper corner > ‘Excel
Options…’ > 'Popular' section, and choose the appropriate 'Screen tip style'

That wasn't quite what I meant. I created a custom menu tab with
buttons that I like. (Like open, copy save, underline, paste, but
every one of these buttons shows the functional word to the right of
it. So I have {copy button} copy, {paste button} paste, {save
button} save so I have both the button and the verbage text saying
what the button does and the text stays on and I so far haven't been
able to turn it off. I only want the button and not the text because
the text takes up too much space.

Thanks!
Chet
