Turning off the tooltips?

Hi all,

is there a registry hack that would let me turn off the tooltips that appear
next to the mouse cursor when I hover over Quick Launch items at all?

Please follow these steps below:

1) Right Click "My Computer" > Properties
2) Click the "Advanced" tab and choose the settings of "Perfomance"
3) After that just untick "fade or show tool tips"
