Turning off the automatic Copyright symbol

Everytime I type (C) in Excel 2003 it automatically changes to the copyright symbol. Does anyone know how to make this stop happening?

Hi Jennifer:
Tools|AutoCorrect - delete the entry for (C) to copyright symbol
I believe this is Office-wide so the same (c) will not give the symbol in
any Office app after you make this deletion.

Select Tools | Options and select the Spelling tab. Then selec
Autocorrect Options. Just get rid of the one that changes the (c) to
copyright.

Hit ctrl-Z as soon as xl "fixes" it. It'll revert and you'll still have use of
the copyright symbol (if you need it elsewhere).

Type (c) then press the spacebar
AutoCorrect will change the characters into the copyright symbol
Press Ctrl+Z, to undo the change, but not the typing
