Turning of Speech in Word 2003

Whenever I start Word, it displays a Welcome to Office Speech Recognition dialog box and tries to get me to adjust my microphone and train Office to recognize my speech. I do not want to use speech recognition! I have tried deselecting it on the Tools menu, and still, it keeps coming back. Is there some startup setting I need to disable? Thanks.

Your best bet is to go to "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel and select to "change" how Office 2003 is installed. UNINSTALL the Speech Recogniztion.
